- Payment and billing information; card details are normally processed by secure third-party payment providers rather than stored by us.

03Sensitive documents
We request passports, government IDs, ownership records and Powers of Attorney only when reasonably necessary for a service, identity verification, fraud prevention or a legal process. Please do not send sensitive documents through unsecured channels unless instructed. We may provide a secure upload or another appropriate method.
04Sharing with service providers
We may share information only where reasonably necessary with independent Australian or Indian law firms, advocates, Chartered Accountants, licensed agents, banks, payment providers, government bodies, apartment societies, maintenance providers, inspectors, builders, technology providers and other approved vendors.
We do not sell personal information. Providers receive only the information reasonably required for their role and may have their own privacy obligations and policies.
05Australia–India data transfers
Because our services concern property in India, personal information and documents may be securely transferred, accessed or stored between Australia and India. Before disclosing information overseas, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances to protect it and limit use to the purpose for which it was provided.
Some overseas recipients are independent professionals engaged directly by the client. Their handling of information may also be governed by their own engagement terms and applicable Indian law.
06Security
- Access controls and restricted staff or contractor access.
- Password protection and multi-factor authentication where available.
- Encrypted transmission and reputable cloud services where reasonably practicable.
- Secure payment providers rather than direct storage of full card details.
- Document minimisation, access logging and deletion or archiving procedures.
- Review and response processes for suspected data incidents.
07Cookies and analytics
We may use necessary, preference, performance, analytics and advertising cookies. This may include services such as Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel or similar tools. These services may collect device, browser, referral and interaction data. You can restrict cookies through your browser, although some website functions may be affected.
08Marketing
With consent or where otherwise permitted by law, we may send service news, educational material and offers. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in a message or by contacting us. Service and transactional communications may still be sent where necessary.
09Access, correction and deletion
You may request access to personal information we hold, ask us to correct inaccurate information, request a copy, withdraw marketing consent or ask for deletion where we are not legally required to retain the information. We may need to verify identity before acting on a request.
10Retention
We generally retain client, transaction and financial records for up to 7 years after completion or for a longer period where required by law, taxation, insurance, dispute or professional obligations. Other information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected.

Where the Privacy Act applies, you may also be able to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner after first giving us an opportunity to respond.
