Payments

Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies unless your signed proposal, engagement letter or service agreement contains different terms. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

01Consultations and completed work

Consultation, assessment, inspection, research and coordination fees are generally non-refundable once the appointment or work has been delivered or substantially commenced. If we cancel a paid service and do not provide a reasonable alternative, the unused amount will be refunded.

02Onboarding and setup fees

Setup fees cover file creation, document review, initial coordination and onboarding. They are non-refundable once onboarding work has commenced, except where required by law.

03Monthly plans

Ongoing monthly services may be cancelled by giving at least 30 days' written notice unless another notice period is stated in your service agreement. Fees remain payable during the notice period and for work already performed.

04Third-party expenses

Government fees, professional fees, travel, inspection costs, repairs, materials, platform charges and other third-party expenses are non-refundable once paid, booked or committed, unless the relevant provider issues a refund. Any provider refund received for your matter will be passed on after deducting any non-refundable charges or amounts due.

05Property transaction fees

Sale, purchase or transaction coordination fees are handled according to the milestone and cancellation terms in the relevant proposal or engagement letter. Work completed up to cancellation remains payable.

06Emergency work

Urgent or emergency attendance, after-hours coordination and protective work may be charged separately. Once authorised or reasonably undertaken to protect people or property under an agreed authority, those charges are non-refundable except where required by law.

07How to request a refund

Send a written request to contact@nripropertyconnect.com.au with your name, invoice number, service and reason. We may request supporting information and will respond within a reasonable period.

08Approved refunds

Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method. Bank, currency conversion and payment-provider processing times are outside our control.
